Like my friends Ginger Calem, Kristy K. James and others, I am concerned about the SOPA and PIPA bills being introduced into congress for votes.

As Ginger stated, “On Jan 24th, Congress will vote to pass internet censorship in the Senate, even though the vast majority of Americans are opposed. We need to kill the bill – PIPA in the Senate and SOPA in the House – to protect our rights to free speech, privacy, and prosperity.”

I hope you will consider joining the protest of this action. The website, Strike Against SOPA gives information and instructions on how to do this.

My tech skills are basic at best and, thus far, I have not discovered a way to add the plug in that will black out my site tomorrow. However, to show my sympathy with this protest and participate in it, I will not be blogging or responding to comments on my site tomorrow, January 18th.

Please watch this video to learn more (by Fight for the Future).

I’ll see you again on the 19th
